Palace Modern Hotel at the Plaza - Queen Suite 5 - 350 sq ft

We enjoyed our stay, though with a few flaws. 1. Mostly the building is quite noisy. The sound of guests chatting in the hallway seems to bounce off the glass wall of the gallery and straight into the room. This might not be such a problem if the bed were in the back half of the room where the sitting area is currently, so we were confused by the choice of layout. 2. The rug slips over the tile easily and feels like a tripping hazard. There should probably be a pad under it or something. 3. The shower, with no door or curtain, it's difficult to keep the rest of the bathroom dry. I appreciated there were plenty of towels though.

beautiful room, great location, room's a bit small Positive: location was excellent, Decor was tasteful, comfortable and easy access to room. Negative: the room was not spacious and for some reason the "bedroom" where the queen bed was, was right when you open the door to the room, while the sofa bed (where my daughter slept) or otherwise the "living room", was in the back and had it's own door for more privacy. I think it would have been better the other way around. Also the "wall" around the bathroom is a glass wall. it has a curtain. For us it was fine, but for some people it might not be.

great location, very nice interiors...wish there was more sunlight in the rooms and some outdoor public space...
