My New Santa Fe Go-To Spot
As much as it can be fun to stay at an upscale, service-oriented property, sometimes it's nice to go low key and not deal with a lot of fuss. This was my second stay at Palace Modern and we love it. Rooms are tight but nicely thought out and designed. Room #10 has a cute patio and the feeling of it being larger. Love the easy code access and card for free garage parking a couple of blocks away. Plus the gallery inside and restaurants up front are fantastic. For an easy, more self-sufficient stay in a chic spot in an ideal walkable Santa Fe location... this is it. Having stayed at the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, Auberge Bishops Lodge, Four Seasons, etc... this is also a really great value.

Quiet Getaway
We really enjoyed the room and amenities available to us. Our stay was very quiet and the property was clean. We enjoyed the outdoor patio and its privacy. We also appreciated having access to the filtered water and ice station.

Positive: Fantastic location, modern style especially compared to the old and tired standards near the Plaza. We also like the ease of getting in and out of the unit without the need for a front desk person.

Nicely updated room with private patio space
The highlight of our brief stay was the cleanliness of our room and the premium linens/furnishings of our Patio King. The property is nicely situated in the heart of old town Santa Fe for superior walkability. The hotel features subdued upscale style and quiet atmosphere. It was nice to be able to enjoy a gless of wine on our private patio area, and the bed was very comfortable.
The rooms are on the small side, limited by the building's construction; the bathroom is very small, but nicely renovated. We would stay again when in the area.
